Every vessel needs a device that automatically reports location information to CDFW. Lime Devices that meet all of the requirements were distributed by CDFW last year. Vessels should contact Archipelago as soon as possible to sign up for service and get the unit installed. Subscription services cover a full year. Each subscription also comes with access to “Fleet” where a user can log in and confirm the unit is transmitting and view track history etc. CDFW just updated their Frequently Asked Questions, linked below.
